Dr. Jerome Ciullo graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1977. He did his orthopaedic residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He completed a Sport Medicine, Knee and Shoulder Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University in Boston and a second Knee Fellowship at Long Beach Memorial Hospital/ USC in Long Beach, California. In 1983, he joined the academic staff at Wayne State University and went into private practice in 1986. Currently, he is on the teaching staff at Michigan State University.
He has lectured both nationally and internationally. He has published numerous articles in medical journals, authored a book and several book chapters.
Dr. Ciullo has been a team physician and an orthopaedic consultant for both professional and collegiate athletics. He has been an instructor at the American Arthroscopy Association of North America teaching lab in Illinois.
