Dr. Zena G. Yousif specializes in hand surgery and provides care for pediatric and adults. Dr. Yousif has a special interest in elective and traumatic cases affecting the hand.
She also works closely with occupational therapy to enhance healing and return to good function after hand surgery and trauma. Dr. Yousif has earned clinical honors in surgery, pediatrics, and family medicine. She is not only a highly decorated surgeon, but a compassionate volunteer at various institutions around the community.
Dr. Yousif earned her medical degree from Wayne State University with honors. She completed her general surgery residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center and a combined hand surgery fellowship at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Yousif has participated in multiple published clinical research studies. She has presented on topics such as carpal tunnel syndrome and lateral epicondylitis.
