Dr. Mehul M. Mehta is a world renowned hand, plastic, and reconstructive surgeon with extensive experience in treatment of wrist fractures, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, dupuytren's contracture and severe soft tissue injuries. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Surgery of the Hand (CAQSH). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Mehta also specializes in the treatment of birth defects, congenital hand problems and injuries in children. Dr. Mehta treats patients with compassion, and combined with his knowledge and use of modern techniques, has gained an impeccable reputation among his colleagues and patients.
Dr. Mehta provides volunteer surgical services to victims and disadvantaged populations, in the past missions have included rotations around the world with International Surgical Missions and Operation Smile.
