Admissions & Charge Audit Specialist- Full-time opening, 40 hours per week, M-F, Day shifts. Travel time to other locations required. Assists in tasks and provides coverage for Patient Access Representatives when needed. Coordinates the Admissions process. Obtains required information and admits inpatients and outpatients in an efficient manner. Ensures an efficient revenue cycle flow though obtaining appropriate authorization and charge entry. Associate's Degree in Healthcare preferred. Previous Insurance Verification and authorization/Pre-certification experience required. Experience with Medicare and third party claims strongly preferred. Previous experience in Admissions/Registration preferred. Strong computer knowledge, communication skills, and organization skills required.
*Primarily working from the Oakland Regional Hospital, Southfield Location and occasionally traveling to the other locations
Chart Auditor- Part-time, 24 hours per week, M-F, Day shifts. Under direction performs specialized administrative duties, interacting significantly with clinical staff pertaining to charge entry and charge audit. Utilizes knowledge of revenue cycle practices to audit the charges on Surgical charts. Performs revenue cycle defense audits and under/overage charge audits. Communicates audit findings to the Revenue Cycle/Data Quality Committee and works closely with a variety of individuals to resolve discrepancies. 2+ Years of experience performing charge audits preferred. Knowledge or Materials, Scrub Technologist, Nursing and Surgeon related charges. Ability to read and understand medical records and other treatment documentation. Ability to collect, interpret, and evaluate statistical data.

* The Billing department is located in the Warren Billing Office
Medical Billing Specialist - Full-time opening, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Day shifts. Responsible for posting, billing, and collection of all accounts receivables, ensuring timely cash flow for the hospital. Must have knowledge of UB04 and CMS 1500 claim forms. Must have additional knowledge of CPT, DRG, HCPCS, and ICD coding required. Prior Blue Cross Billing experience strongly preferred. Prior Medical Billing experience and knowledge of Medical Billing software required. 2+ Year of Medical Facility experience preferred. Experience with computers and medical software required.

HR Assistant- Part-time opening, 24 hours per week. Assists the Director of HR with the day-to-day activities of the HR department. Performs a variety of clerical duties. Associate's degree required. 1+ Years of general HR experience preferred.
Medical Surgical Unit:
*The Med/Surg Unit is located within our Hospital, Southfield location
* 30 Bed Unit
Full-time opening, 36 hours per week, 12 hour shift length, Day (0700-1930) shifts. Responsible for the provision of nursing care to patients and to direct non-licensed staff in the same. Collaborates with the Physicians and Interdisciplinary Care Delivery Team to provide comprehensive nursing care. 3+ Years of experience as a RN strongly preferred. 1+ Years of experience providing care in a hospital setting preferred. Experience in a Med/Surg unit setting Strongly Preferred. Must have a current, unrestricted RN License from the State of Michigan. Current ACLS certification Strongly Preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required.
Skilled Nursing Facility:
* The Oakland Nursing Center- Skilled Nursing Facility is located within our Hospital, Southfield Location
* 26 Bed Unit
Part-time opening, 24 hours per week, 8 hour shift length, Day (0700-1530) shifts. Assesses, plans care, provides treatment regimes, evaluates care and collaborates with the Physicians and Interdisciplinary Care Delivery Team to provide comprehensive nursing care. 1+ Years of experience as a LPN strongly preferred. 1+ Years of experience providing care in a hospital setting preferred. Experience in a Skills Nursing Facility or long-term care setting required. Must have a current, unrestricted LPN License from the State of Michigan. Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
LPN- Part-time opening, 16 hours per week, 8 hour shift length, Day (0700-1530) shifts.
LPN- Part-time opening, 16 hours per week, 8 hour shift length, Afternoon (1500-2330) shifts.
PCT - Contingent openings, hours vary per week, 12 hour shift length, Day (0700-1930) shifts and Midnight (1900-0730) shift available. Must work a minimum of 4 days per month, 2 of the 4 days must be weekend days, and work at least 1 holiday per year. Responsible for the provision of direct care to patients to assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including elimination, nutritional needs, mobility and emotional support. Responsible for the provision of direct care to patients under the direction of a RN and/or LPN. 1+ Years of Nurse Aide or hospital setting experience preferred. Must have a current, unrestricted Nurse Aide certification from the State of Michigan. Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
Wound Care Nurse- Contingent opening, hours vary per week, 12 hour shift length, Day (0700-1930) and Midnight (1900-0730) shifts. Minimum work requirement of 4 days per month, 2 of the 4 days must be weekend days, and at least one holiday per year. Administers treatments following written physician orders and review of patient’s condition. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in determining appropriate treatment type, duration and dosage. Operates a variety of equipment and performs a variety of treatments, including but not limited to, wound care. Knowledge of nursing protocols, wound care, and patient assessments. 3 years of experience as a RN strongly preferred. 1+ years of experience providing care in a hospital setting preferred. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting required. Must have a current, unrestricted RN License from the State of Michigan. Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
Surgical Services Department:

Oakland Regional Hospital, Southfield Location - Four Operating Rooms
ORMC- Oakland Regional Macomb Center, Warren Surgical Center Location - Two Operating Rooms
Full-time opening, 40 hours per week, M-F shifts available. Responsible for providing nursing care to the patient during the intra-operative phase. Performs nursing actives in the operating room where the nurse is the patient's advocate. Answers patient needs by assisting the physician and person responsible for anesthesia care. Responsible for supervising Technicians and other members of the health care team as assigned. Ortho and/or Spinal experience Strongly preferred. Must have a current, unrestricted RN License from the State of Michigan. Current BLS Certification required.
